Know the material in your specification
The full-opening pod models use a 5mm solid 304 stainless steel worktop. Compact uses a solid 304 stainless steel surface. Confirm the selected finish and appliance schedule with your project specification.
Coastal exposure changes the care routine
Stainless steel can develop surface discolouration known as tea staining. Grade, surface finish, design and exposure influence the result. A grade name alone is not a promise of resistance to every coastal condition.
Clean for the actual setting
Remove deposits using a suitable mild cleaner and fresh water, following the grain and drying the surface. Avoid hydrochloric acid, steel wool and abrasive products. Refer to the final care instructions for the selected finish and appliances.
Compare complete material systems
When comparing metal, timber and composite cabinetry, ask about construction, finish, joints, drainage, service access and the recommended care routine. Match the complete system to the site instead of relying on a universal material ranking.
